[TMRA] Digital mode SCI - case SOLVED!

    Well, I traced everything as far as I could with using headphones as a probe and couldn't find an issue on the input side, but nothing on the output.  Found myself wishing my VOM was sensitive down to line-level values, suddenly remembered I had a nicer one stashed in a box somewhere.  Pulled that one out and sure enough, line-level sensitivity (200mv) for AC!  That made tracing a bit easier!  Worked my way through the whole box and found I had output all the way through.  Huh.  That's odd.  Hook it up to the computer and it works...

    Wait a minute, this can't be right...  :-)  Start proding components while testing.  Sure enough, the signal will cut in/out if I push on one of the transformers just right.  Pull the board and check the backside again.  Yep, highly probable case of insufficient solder on one of the legs...  Soldering iron warming up right now!

    Maybe I'll be seeing you guys on digital in the near future!  :-)
