Hello all. Just a quick FYI that I've added a PDF for the Lucas County
monthly Siren Training Net. This was created by Steve W8TER and is now
available on the site under the Q&A Links/Discussion link (this will
eventually morph into a generic DOWNLOADS link). For the uninitiated, Steve
is holding a training net when the air raid/tornado sirens are tested
monthly. This is done the first Friday of each month. The net starts at
11:45AM on the TMRA 147.27+ 103.5PL repeater. The sirens go off at noon (or
there are supposed too... the last few times it hasn't due to different
reasons). I've also added a calendar event for this on the TMRA calendar
page:

A direct link to the pdf is:

I've also added a link to an interesting informational site brought to my
attention also by Steve W8TER: Battery University. Interesting
information/papers on battery technology. The link is on our links page,
but here it is as well:

Have a great holiday weekend everyone!!!
