[TMRA] Schottky diode question sorta

I once had a receiver and a transmitter on the same antenna. It was wired
so that when I hit the push to talk button, an antenna switch directed the
antenna to the transmitter, and isolated the receiver. I have not seen one
of those switches in a long time. As a novice in 1980, I was using gear
from the 1950's; prior to that I used a manual antenna switch.

Subject: [TMRA] Schottky diode question sorta
I have 1 radio that I want to use to receive only(HF). I have 1 radio that I
want to transceive(HF). I have one antenna and feed line. Can I use a diode
and T the two radios together without overloading (damaging) the receiver
when I transmit?
Thanks in advance.
