Background: I have been a fan of Zenith Transoceanic radios for a long
time. One day recently, I was looking at a chassis that I had, and noticed
that one of the battery plugs looked like the correct fit for the GPR
standby socket on the rear panel, so I liberated it and sure enough it fit
perfectly. That spawned a search on the web for antique radio parts, and
that eventually paid off.
So, for those of you that have been looking for a source of 2 pin plugs as
used on the GPR-90 series receivers, you can find them here:

<https://antiqueradiosandparts.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=441&
product_id=2781> &path=441&product_id=2781
I ordered a few last week and they arrived today; perfect fit. They do not
include a shell BTW, but no big deal. The original part number reference on
the GPR parts list is PL-123A, and according to the drawing on JP's web
site, the vendor part numbers are Cinch # 2724, 11631. A search on those
showed up empty.
Enjoy & 73,

PS - Anyone know where I can find an original chassis mounted 2 pin socket
for a GPR-90? I'm restoring an early receiver and the socket was removed by
some previous owner, who used the existing holes for antenna connections and
brought the standby wires out. Totally reversible with the correct parts.
