[TMC] GPR-92

To all of those naysayers commenting on or ridiculing the asking price 
for this GPR-92;

Originally, I listed it on eBay for $4995.00 or best offer, a few months 
ago. I terminated the listing when a very serious radio collector 
approached me outside of eBay, and I agreed to sell the receiver to him 
directly.

I sold the receiver in mid-October for $4750.00 cash....no eBay or 
PayPal fees, and the buyer did not have to pay any sales tax. The buyer 
drove a  long distance to pick it up; he insisted that it not be 
shipped, for fear of the possibility of damage to it. And he was 
thrilled with the condition of this pristine GPR-92, and I know that 
another enthusiast of these extremely rare receivers will treasure it. 
It went to a very good home, and to a very nice person.

So there you go....
