Thanks, Richard et. Al.

Good info on the connector and hand wiring.

Yes I am now assembling a TMC 350W sideband/am/afsk transmitter. Much of it courtesy JP K4OZY I am waiting for some rack shelves in the mail and I can put it all together. Then I need to start playing with it to see what does and does not work. If I'm lucky, maybe by winter hihi!

Just to make this clear because I don't like the way it reads.
Some microphones come with attached cords, some have a connector on the body for an interconnecting cord. That's better.
In either case you will have to wire the cord to the transmitter.
If there is attached cord on the mic, or if it has a connector but no cord, you will have to find whatever connector is suitable for the mic end and attach a suitable connector at both ends.
Some connectors which were extremely common in the  1950s are hard to find now but all are available with a little searching.
If worst comes to worst you can replace the transmitter connector with another kind such as a TRS telephone jack or an XLR connector. However, I think you can probably get the correct ones.
Do you have the entire transmitter that this exciter goes with? I have lusted after a TMC transmitter since I was in my teens. I will look for one when I get rich.
