[TMC] FFR's

From what I can get from the catalog these were intended to
be adjustable fixed frequency receivers for use in double or
triple diversity set ups. They would provide the necessary
features of something like an SP-600-JX or GPR-90 allowing either
manual tuning or crystal control but not have the extras of a
general purpose receiver that are not needed for the specialized
application. There are fixed frequency receivers that offer
crystal control but where all the RF tuning is manual. Something
like the FRR would offer an easier change of frequency. Probably
selectivity and other features are included in the external
adaptors or combiners.
