Yes, I have a friend who recently acquired one (ran on to a barn full
of radio gear for sale by the widow of the late owner). He thinks quite
highly of it, says it is very stable (big contrast to SP-600, in my
experience) and it worked right away with no serious repair work. (believe
he said ceramic rather than paper capacitors) He thinks they copied the
best ideas from Hallicrafters, National and Hammarlund. Of course it
isn't a modern SSB capable receiver, nor even a Collins tunable-IF
architecture.
