I may have a downloaded version of one of the MSR
manuals but I can't find it at the moment. There are
sketches of the pass band on the schematics but they are not
detailed. I wondered how this filter compares with, say,
the Collins mechanical filters of similar bandwidth. The
sketches suggest the TMC filter is a Chebichev (sp.) type
which can have very good skirt steepness. I need to
re-organize my TMC stuff. One problem is that I had a great
deal of stuff on a 1Tb drive that crashed. It was gathered
when I had access to a very high speed connection which I do
not at home so I can't really duplicate much of it.
This is really idle curiosity since I have not found an
MSR which I can afford. I would love to find one to use on
either an SP-600-JX or, it will work on a 500khz IF on an
R-388.
