Hi Nick

The SBE-9 is used also with the GPT750G-2.
and the NAVSHIPS 0967-214-5010 is the manual for the GPT750F-2 GPT750G-2
and GPT750H-2.

In this manual at page 4 is written:

"RADIO TRANSMITTER
MODELS GPT-750 F-2, GPT-750 G-2 AND GPT-750 H-2
With the exception of the sidebandexciters, Radio Transmittes
GPT-750 F-2, GPT-750 G-2 AND GPT-750 H-2 are similiar to Radio
Transmitters
GPT-750 D-2 and GPT-750 E-2.
The existing technical manual (IN-315) for GPT750 D-2 and GPT-750 E-2
will apply as written with the following exceptions:

1. GPT-750 F-2 uses Sideband Exciter SBE-8.

2. GPT-750 G-2 uses Sideband Exciter SBE-9.

3. GPT-750 H-2 uses Sideband Exciter SBE-10. "

So you can use the VFO with the SBE-9 in the same way as used with the
SBE-2.
in 80 meters I use the VFO from 3230 to 3530 for and output frequency
of 3500 - 3800 Khz.

73 from IK5NXD Andrea

p.s. you can download the manual at
