Bruce, Robert, and the group:
I responded to Bruce separately.. his construction of a brand new RTC from TMC drawings is
the stuff of legend.. :)
So, good news and bad news on the RTC manual. I *do* actually have one on hand from the
factory manual stash (the good news). The bad news: it's in Spanish, and that's why it didn't
get scanned the first time around. I just had a look at it, the schematics and parts lists are
in English, and the Spanish isn't really that hard to figure out.
It's on my pile of things to scan and add to the website.
The simplified schematics in the RTC manual confirm that the unit could be used to generate
modulated CW (MCW), or it could be used as a microphone preamp, producing 600-ohm line
output in both cases.
