I'm not sure this message went through, so let me resend it:
Hi John,
Actually, there were two versions of the RTC; the earlier version without the rack handles, and the later version with the handles. The earlier version was rolled out by TMC around 1956.
The cabinet for the RTC was the same cabinet used for the GPR-90 (I can't recall off hand the TMC CAB number for the cabinet). Since many of these RTCs were obviously used in rack-mount installations, TMC made the design change around 1961 to include the rack handles on the front panel, but the unit could still of course be mounted in the GPR-90 style cabinet if desired. I believe that may have been the only change made to the RTC during it's production life cycle, and I think the unit was then nomenclatured as model RTC-2, but I have to double-check this.
I seem to to recall seeing the manual for the RTC somewhere, or perhaps it was the TMC data sheet, as I do have a copy of the schematic for it. I know that I do not have an original of the manual, however.
If anyone out there has an unloved or no longer used RTC that they would like to part with, I would be pleased to purchase it!

Bruce, W2XR
