[TMC] C708 in PS-4

I've only recently become aware of the importance of those "pink sheets"
that specify changes to the various manuals, and I'm not sure I was
sufficiently diligent about scanning them on the first pass through the
TMC manual stash. I'll see if I can find a complete set of revisions
for the PAL-1K and add them to the manuals on the website.

In addition, we've recently obtained nearly all of the "specification"
documents. These are technically "drawings", so are on that part of my
website. There are about 1300 of them.. I'm about 2/3 of the way
through scanning them, and I've put the first 100 or so on the website.
Check the website over the next couple of months, as these things become
available. There are lots of interesting ones, including the "real"
alignment procedure for the GPR-90.

Reason I bring this up is that there may be a relevant S-doc that covers
this change to the PAL-1K.. will try to find it, if it exists, Larry!

  ...

Larry, did you download the manual for the PAL-1KA? I just had a look
at the parts list for the PS-4A, and there *is* a C708. It's the same
as C704, a paper cap, 0.1uF @ 600V, hermetically sealed bathtub metal
case. Bet you've got the "A" version of the rig... Should show on the
equipment tags on the front panels, if so.

On any of the schematics i have it shows C-708 but it's not in the parts list. No capacitor has that high a number assigned to it yet it's on the schematic. I know it's a .1 but what value voltage. I want to change out the one in my supply to protect the grid from burning up in the event plate voltage doesn't come on or drops off without kicking out the grid voltage relay.

I even printed out a new copy of a PS-4 which is totally different than the schematic i have with my books. Unless i pull that beast out of the rack i'll never know which version i really have.
