[TMC] Xtal load capacitance

Hi Larry:

I have been away for a while, and just saw your message. I looked up my
old (August 2007) crystal order for the GPE-1A and I searched its
manual, but, alas, could not find any load information or requirement.
MH Electronics did not ask for that information. The only specs were:

3.870000 MHz, parallel resonance, 75C oven, CR-27/U holder. And, the
crystal has worked fine ever since.

One issue for which I do not found an answer is the need for the
crystal oven in ham use of TMC transmitters. Is the oven of any benefit
for maintaining frequency stability if it is not always on
24-hours-per-day/7-days-per-week as typical in commercial use? I
probably operate the transmitter a maximum of three hours in any one
session--and a maximum of 6-hours-per-week. Many spec sheets for
crystals recommend two hours of heat before operation! Seems
unnecessary to me--especially for AM operation.

International xtal wants to know what the load capacitance would be. I suspect it will be 20-30 pf but don't know for sure. I think JAN also wants that info. I don't know that they ahve any info on the TMC line of equipment so i need to come up with something. ANy ideas?
