[TMC] ATS-2 problem

Hi Hal,

Yes, those components are inside R301.  R301 is a film on glass type 
resistor, and the internal components can be accessed by removing the 
resistor assembly, and carefully pulling off the end caps.  The caps have 
fingers which engage the plated ends on the resistor.  The components are 
simply "haywired" together inside, and it's a bit of a pain to work on.

There's not much to go wrong with these units, so I'd recommend simply 
ohming out the RF chokes, checking the diodes (be careful about forward 
current), and carefully inspecting everything.  They're simple to work on, 
though getting at the parts inside R301 is a chore...
