Dave is correct.  Those are the main components of a DDR-5 (FRR-60) receiver,
with the exception of the MSR-4, which is unrelated.  The MSR-4 is a well-known
and well-regarded SSB adapter, often used with R-390's and '390A's.

The FRR-60 came in a variety of flavors, but usually was a dual-diversity,
synthesized receiver.  Its architecture is interesting:  it's really a conventional
dual-conversion superhet, except that the local oscillator (first mixer) can
be phase locked to a sythesizer (the gizmo with the Nixie tubes on the front
panel).  This thing uses a variety of tricks, including a bunch of "phantastron"
dividers to generate a switch-selected frequency, with 10 Hz resolution.  The Nixies
are just a readout, NOT attached to a counter--they simply reflect the positions of the
front-panel switches.   The radio has many interesting and quite advanced
features, and some remarkable IF filters.  Evidently the Navy used 100's of
these things during the 60's in its world-wide radio teletype network.

If the "free" rack Walter is offering has cables attached, it's well worth taking
and should be kept with the units!
