[TMC] LPA-1000k amplifier

It's been a long time since I have been on the TMC list.

 

I have an old LPA-1000k amp that I finally got around to getting working. It
has a pair of 3-500Z (originally was a pair of 3-400Z) with auto preset
channels that it will tune to.

 

Having problems with low efficiency on the higher frequencies. 160 and 80
seem to be fine, 40 meters is a little low and 20 meters runs under 40%.
This amp has a toroid tank coil for all bands 1.6 MHz to 18 MHz. Anyone have
one of these amps on the air that can compare notes?
