[TMC] Powder Coating, "TMC Blue"

Couple of folks asked for details on the powder coating
I used on the refurbished GPR-90 case in a recent post.

That was

The color is just a tad lighter than the "TMC Blue" on
many of my rigs, but then.. "TMC Blue" varies all over 
the place on actual rigs!

You could, of course, have a custom color mixed for you,
but it's expensive.. something like $700.. and you have to
send away an example of the color to get an accurate match.
Using a standard color that's close, and looks great, by 
the way, seemed a better choice..

There are competent powder coaters scattered all over the
US; I have been dealing with Mark Younce at Top Coat, Inc,
near Raleigh, NC  (919-787-0302).  Mark has the great
characteristic that he doesn't mind taking time and pains
dealing with a finicky customer with a tiny job!
