[TMC] New Owner GPR 90 ! Happy Camper!

Thought I'd check with those that know this unit better than I.
Been wanting one for years. Well found it locally and Dragged !IT
HOME in my truck! Heavy heavy unit built like a tank.
Just kidding - typical BA.

Plugged it in with speaker and small antenna and surprise it works,
after many years of non use! So it's been cooking for hours now and
getting better with power on.  Needs a fair amount of TLC on just about
everything electronic but amazingly WWV is coming in very close to where
it should be.

Got the manual from BAMA but the schematics are not that readable.

Guess the only questions are:
1. What if anything should I be aware of, faults, mods, alignment
    cautions etc.
2. Paint -- top lid is noticeably rusty in two spots so that part
    NEEDS repainting. Front panel is a smooth gray but the cabinet
    paint is slightly wrinkled but the same hue. Any commercial paint
    available to match?
3. SN 1790 and I wonder how many were manufactured?
