[TMC] Anyone out there, FFR-502 plug-ins

Hi Roy,
Okay on the FRR-502 receiver...I've seen pictures of them in some older ARRL
handbooks from the 50s..how does it work for you..looks like an interesting
receiver..I think the one in the handbook has a different nomenclature..FRR-49
or something..do you know if they are the same receiver..
The Canadian military used these or the FRR-502s in the sixties and seventies..
