Steve Parker, from Illinois, is an industrial blacksmith, who learned much
from power hammer wizard, Clifton Ralph, from Indiana.  Both men have been
around the country giving power hammer demo’s.  Steve was a featured
demonstrator last year at the ABANA Conference in Memphis TN.

Along with many other decorative items, plus  locks, tools and much more.

This demo will be tuned to help you maximize your power hammer by using
common or easy to make tooling.  The processes used can be applied to other
aspects of your work.  Since time is limited, Steve will spend the day
demonstrating, rather than taking precious time to allow individuals to try
what they have learned.

We may draw a few names from a hat if there are folks who wish to try their
hand at forging on the power hammer after 6PM.

Bring your own chair/soft beverage/ lunch
Some of us will be going into town for lunch.

Waver of Liability

I, the undersigned, am at least 18 years of age*, and in good health.  I
understand that I will be among and possibly working in an industrial
environment with fire, sparks, smoke, machinery, dust and loud noises.  I
understand that I risk injury, i.e. burns, broken bones, dismemberment, loss
of hearing, etc. from fire, and the equipment used in forging and industrial
processes.  I will wear cotton or wool clothing, leather boots, and OSHA
approved eye protection.  (NO synthetic clothing.)  I also understand that
OSHA approved hearing protection is recommended.  I will not hold Bighorn
Forge, Inc., or any of its officers or employees liable in the event of an
accident or injury.
