[TheForge] OLD bridge collapse north of Baltimore

There was a somewhat analogous situation down here in Texas a while back.
The USS Texas Battleship's engines were beginning to drop through the deck.
The state agency overseeing that state park hired a contractor to lift the
engines and replace the deck with modern steel. A local blacksmith
organization contacted the state agency about the 'scrap'.

The agency agreed to let local blacksmiths pick through the scrap - on
condition that they used half of what they took to make items that could be
used for sale to help fund the restoration. I believe that there was
another iteration of this to help with the current restoration.
