Bruce, I agree writing a newsletter is a lot of work. For the most part I
wrote most of the articles, but I was lucky that I had a member that would
take great pictures at most of our meetings and the treasurer would send
our mailing list to the publisher so I just had to send them a PDF of the
newsletter once I put it together.  I could also count on a couple members
to send me articles a couple times a year especially when my demonstration
schedule conflicted with BAM's meeting schedule. I was also lucky that BAM
paid me so I could cut back on my shop time when doing the newsletter.


We do have a Facebook page and get some interest there. We have a members
only news group which helps us keep in touch between meetings. I don't
think we are on any other social media sites, but I'm not so no way to
check.
