[TheForge] New Doyle Anvil from Harbor Freight

I have one of the old HF anvils (circa 2000) - it's a boat anchor - slightly better than a RR rail because it is anvil shaped. I'm comparing it to a 1970'ish 250 lb Kohlswa and an a 80 lb 18-something British anvil. Maybe they got the clue? Steve

I just watched the youtube video on Harbor Freight 65# cast steel
anvil.
It might be worthy, if not, it might still
be good enough to haul into a weekend event giving young people a
chance to learn some hammer skill.
12 or so years ago I donated
a 110 pound "cast steel" harbor freight anvil to a viking age
re-enactment group's blacksmith shop.
I had a
chance to look it over last year. It still looked
ok, basically undamaged, and the guys were getting good use
out of it..
I watched the 2nd video about the one handed
mini-chain saw. That looks like an accident waiting to
happen.
