hello

long time no read. life continues on which is a good thing at the
moment. Been busy keeping the doctors employed at Hines. They say that I
am still cancer free which is also a good thing.

Mobility is improving slowly.

Been looking at gardening and enlarging the garden..

I found a nice blacksmith who makes homestead garden tools. Nice long
handles so you are not straining your back by bending over. Has anyone
heard of "Homestead Iron". www.homesteadiron.com
They are located in the Ozark Mountains.

I have talked with a couple amatuer metal workers and they are looking
at getting into repair of garden tools and handtools. I lent one my old
handbook on sharpening handsaws and the big two man crosscut saws used
to saw lumber 100 years ago.

I am in the process of cleaning up the garage to get more clear space to
tinker. I have several chainsaws that need repair.

I need to rebuild the piping on my propane forge. i had a mishap and it
fell over and damaged the copper tubing and brass pipes.

Our small Shih Tsu, Baby Angel, died yesterday of kidney disease. We
still have her mother, Mama Snow. Baby Angel is now with Harley,
Huckleberry, Oakley, and Lilla. There is sadness but also hope that one
day we will see her again. She is now pain free.
I recommend a book by Ptolemy Tompkins, "The Divine Life of Animals"

Anyway, I am trying to be able to repair garden tools and handtools for
people. Large items are not possible anymore. Getting old has taken its
toll.

My friend, Rick Crawford, had chickens and ducks for eggs, Looking into
getting chickens and ducks mainly for eggs. the side benefit is that
chicken do "till" the garden and yard rather well.

Again Take care all and stay safe.

Take care everyone, try to enjoy the spring and summer. Be safe. Try to
ignore and avoid the nonsense out there. Plant a garden for yourself
and your extended family.
