I'm a long time follower of this page. I don't have a lot of time to do much, between kids and work, but I would love to be more active in the community. Does anyone know if any clubs in New England are having virtual meetings?Thanks.Carrie.Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note8.

NTxBA holds monthly meetings every second Saturday at various workshops around the DFW area. The club also hosts various blacksmiths from around the country occasionally to broaden the scope of the craft of blacksmithing. NTxBA also performs demonstrations and workshops for Scouts groups, local municipalities, and many heritage organizations.Rob-----Original Message-----From: theforge-bounces at mailman.qth.net <theforge-bounces at mailman.qth.net> On Behalf Of xlch58Sent: Tuesday, May 12, 2020 8:51 PMTo: Blacksmithing List Sponsored by ABANA <theforge at mailman.qth.net>Subject: Re: [TheForge] Virtual meetingsNTMAC, North Texas Metalworking ? At present all heavy metal tools stashed in Austin, building & mechanics tools outside of FW along with my wrecked HD (Custom '90 FLST, first HD was a basket case '72CLCH I rebuilt from ground up back in mid 70's)). Not much blacksmithing content, but It has been pretty successful. I am all for the first inaugural theForge live meeting after more than two decades, but there are some issues with zoom I have heard with regard to managing and keeping out people who like the disrupt these things. That is why our local group is doing Skype, so that each person is invited to the meeting rather than joining an open url.> > Charles> > Sent from my iPad> >> On May 12, 2020, at 11:13 AM, Chuck Robinson <robi5515 at bellsouth.net> wrote:>> >> Has any blacksmithing group tried to, or is using, Zoom to conduct meetings or demonstrations to keep Blacksmithing alive and healthy during the virus pandemic?>> >> I'm concerned that the virus is having a detrimental effect on our blacksmithing community.>> >> Chuck>> >> ______________________________________________________________>> TheForge mailing list>> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/theforge>> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm>> Post: mailto:TheForge at mailman.qth.net>> >> TheForge mail list group photo site is http://www.shutterfly.com>> Login: blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.com>> Password: anvil>> >> This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this >> email>> list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to >> xlch58 at swbell.net> > ______________________________________________________________> TheForge mailing list> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/theforge> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm> Post: mailto:TheForge at mailman.qth.net> > TheForge mail list group photo site is http://www.shutterfly.com> Login: blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.com> Password: anvil> > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email > list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to > jyeates at realtime.net> > ______________________________________________________________> TheForge mailing list> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/theforge> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm> Post: mailto:TheForge at mailman.qth.net> > TheForge mail list group photo site is http://www.shutterfly.com> Login: blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.com> Password: anvil> > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email > list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to > xlch58 at swbell.net______________________________________________________________TheForge mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/theforgeHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:TheForge at mailman.qth.netTheForge mail list group photo site ishttp://www.shutterfly.comLogin: blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.comPassword: anvilThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to rfertner at cox.net ______________________________________________________________TheForge mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/theforgeHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:TheForge at mailman.qth.netTheForge mail list group photo site ishttp://www.shutterfly.comLogin: blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.comPassword: anvilThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.htmlMessage delivered to grddog85 at gmail.com
