This post on masks, food, etc. is from a dear friend of mine, retired
MD, graduate of Yale and Baylor medical.  Absolutely brilliant physician
who was saying stuff like this about corona virus before anyone was
paying attention (reference to the date comment), and I was wondering to
myself WTH?  Richard's comment about simply breathing the same air as
someone else is telling.

James

"Even though you do not see anyone, the AIR you breathe in, may be the
""air exhaled"" by an ASYMTOMATIC  COVID 19 infected person seconds
ago.  The virus persists in the air for some time.

Look at the date I sent this!!   I think none of you are wearing masks
when you go into a store!!   Children must not go into a store..
Outside,,, the 6 feet of separation may,,, be adequate unless the person
six feet way is up wind,,, and he does not sneeze or cough, and holds
his breath..  Only hunters understand up wind!!  ,,and down wind...How
do you think 100,000 people got this disease??  One of the worst cases
of flu I ever had was in 1966 from a breakfast  cook on an isolated west
Texas ranch,, cooking and serving,,,  in a large open  room.

You can improvise a mask with any cloth you can tie on your face,  or
wear a dusk mask and supplement the filtration with Kleenex or paper
towels.  Forget the over emphasis of hand washing unless you suck your
thumb or teethe on the grocery cart handle. Only one person per family
should go to the store.  Do not buy any raw or packaged  food not cooked
by you.  You cannot adequately wash any food.  Who certifies food in a
restaurant is from germ free people .....when """"asymptomatic""" people
can  infect the food???    Bread and crackers probably are cooked and
packaged with minimal person exposure.   You can peel a banana, but wash
it first with soap and water.   While peeling you contaminate your hands.

Do you get the idea??"
