[TheForge] Mastermyr Project

Mike,
Yes that was the Mastermyr collection. Originally, Andy Vida was the Project Manager and when things happened to prevent him from continuing. I took
over. I was the one everyone sent their finished items and I presented it at the LaCross, Wis. ABANA conference. I was the caretaker of the collection for a little while after that.
Bill Clemens took over as the caretaker of the collection and did so admirably until his unfortunate death. This is where my memory gets fuzzy. I don't remember who told me, but someone told me the collection ended up at the Metal Museum in Memphis. I would like to see it end up at the new ABANA headquarters in Johnstown.

Was this the reproduction of Viking tools from years ago? I recall making a draw plate and sending it off, but have no recollection of who was accumulating the items. It would be fun to see the original find along side our reproductions.regards,Mike Schermerhorn/Boston

After I turned the collection over to Bill Clemmons, he was the custodian until his unfortunate death. I think someone told me It was at the Memphis metal museum. I hope it's somewhere safe.

Does anyone know what happened to the master mirror project when it was completed? Is there an online presence? Did it go to a museum? Where is it now?

Thanks
