Years ago, I saw a photo of a couple of workers at a plant (in Spain?)
where mercury was "mined" and cleaned, sitting in a tank of mercury,
sort of bobbing around like corks and grinning happily.

I think this particular form of hijinks is now deprecated for Mad
Hatter/Minamata health reasons. :-o
