[TheForge] Denial won't work -- call 911 if you have symptoms...

That's good news Bruce. I'm just now checking email after a few days or I'd
have sent prayers earlier. Strokes can fool you, especially from the inside,
it can be really hard to tell if you need help or not.
I'd like to recommend. "My Stroke of Insight," by Jill Bolte Taylor, Phd.
It's about a world class neurological scientist, her minute by minute
recounting of suffering and recovering from a major stroke. There are a lot
of helpful tips for dealing and healing. I got a lot out of it.
Give her a big warm Frosty hug for me please. You will all be in our
prayers.
Frosty

Thanks for all the kind wishes. I've passed them along to her.
She's doing fairly well today. We're still awaiting what happens next --
certain to be a transfer to a care facility with PT, but we don't know quite
when.
I was inches from wringing necks today. I was waiting in a waiting room 3
hours for her to emerge from a procedure -- and they took her back to her
room without telling me for 1/2 hour! I was getting worried she might have
died! But she was fine. I'm worn out after 8 hours there.
