     It was not my intention to say not to use it, Bruce.  We don't have 
a significant tick problem here in my part of Nova Scotia (yet), but 
there are lots of mosquitoes, etc.  Some are big enough if 3-4 get 
together they can lift an average sized person off the ground and fly 
away with them!

     I would have made the same decision you did.  The results of a tick 
bite are not to be taken lightly.  I was pointing out that Premethrin is 
considered mildly carcinogenic.  We all make decisions daily where we do 
a risk/benefit analysis.  I just threw in the concern about cancer for 
people to consider . . . but as I said, given the circumstances, you 
absolutely are doing the right thing. I think the key word in that line 
I quoted is "likely", and the study was done on mice, not humans.

     I bet that green smoke that comes off coal when first lit is 1000 
times more carcinogenic than Premethrin.
