I want to thank you guys for starting this thread. My old AM FM headphones
died a couple years ago and I've been getting by with Peltors and plugs for
really loud stuff. 

Reading along here and another PPE thread in another forum I started doing
some shopping around and settled on "Howard Leight Sync radio muffs. Through
Amazon Prime for $57.00 next day shipping, 3-4 days to Alaska. 

They came in the mail Saturday. Baxter our Dachshund can bark right next to
me, I can hear him but can hear the radio clearly and it's turned way down.
These are SWEET ear defenders! A bit heavier than my old ones but they're so
much quieter in here. NRR 25, oh yeah.

Radio reception is excellent AM or FM and AM doesn't come in well here since
I put up the shop building. MP3 and Kindle sounds better than . . . 

Great head phone ear defenders, I think tomorrow I'll see what NRR 25 and
the 338 Win mag sounds like in here. 

Again, thanks for the up to date opinions, these things rock. . . Literally.
