[TheForge] Portable forging station...

Personally, I bolt most things to my concrete floor- which is 40’ x 30’ and 6” thick, so its even heavier.
But I have known guys with dirt floor shops who use 1” or thicker floor plates to fasten some things to.
My basic point is that many tools benefit from being fastened down- I routinely bend 20’ sticks in my hossfeld bender, and it requires it to be quite firmly located.
If, for some reason, you cant drill holes in the landlord’s floor, a steel plate seems like a good solution.
I was not commenting on the exact layout of the equipment- thats a personal decision.
