I really liked Buster Keaton's "The General" so I hadda go out of my
way to get his (short) movie, "The Blacksmith".

Silent, 1922.  You won't get instruction on smithing technique
although there's a unique method of fixing a pocket watch and a very
questionable way to look over a horseshoe.
