[TheForge] Great Metal Working Apps for Smart Phones

Thank you Dave ! This is a list of great apps that I have never seen since so many apps are just Junk that came with my phone. (95 % which I never use and in fact don't want on my phone - but it is a pain to get rid of them. Some you can't, can only hide. I hate it when the phone supplier tells you want you Have To Have.)

Do others of you have apps you use a lot in metal working?

Bruce,
Metal related content because I have these apps "MILLER Welding Calculator", "Pocket Welder Helper", "Simple Offset", "Handyman Calculator"
as well as "S Note" and "S Voice". The first two help with welding machine settings. The next one helps with the math in laying out an off set in pipe or duct work or whatever else you might be putting an offset into. Handyman has an unbelievable number of calculations and charts etc. for anything from an aggregate calculator, angle conversions, circle calc., decimal to fraction, baluster calc., diagonal calc., metal weight, milling machine feed rate, ohm's law, polygon, pulley & rpm, rebar weight, stairs, tap & drill, it probably has a hundred charts and calculators. all of these apps are free... I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The S Note lets you take notes in stylus script or print or in 'text' with a keyboard, the S Voice records just like a tape recorder. This thing is more computer than phone. It has a great camera for taking pictures of your work or site evaluations. It carries it's own electronic stylus that lets you write on the photos that you took as well as help out people with fat fingers. e- mail, internet, music. whatever... I like it and highly recommend it.
