hello;

enough of this nonsense.

I am sorry i ever asked the question in the first place.

I am an B.S.E.E. i have taken enough chemistry and physics classes in my
life. I still have the "Rubber Book" a.k.a. CRC Chemical Handbook. It
that book are listed the thermal expansion coefficient of thousands of
metal alloys and pure metals.

The "holes" i am dealing with are currently occupied by snug fitting
stubborn rivets. the hole cannot become smaller unless miraclously it
can crush the body of the rivet. at the worst the hole does nothing.
doing nothing is a valid option.

I will attempt to take photographs of the rivets this morning and post
them to my web server.
