Hello;;

When this project started it was suggested that the easiest way to
replace the leaf spring shackle brackets would be to remove the bed of
the truck and work at them from above instead of from underneath.

6 large Torx bolts hold the bed on.
These bolts are held in place with Red Loctite. Red LocTite needs to be
heated to above 500F so that it will melt and allow the screw/bolt to be
removed.

I thought at the time that that was too much work.
Yes I was wrong.

Could take the bed off now and finish the job from above.
Have the fork lift, torx bits, impact wrench, etc.
The only thing stopping me is my body. :-(
