Once upon a time, I was on to do a 3 day public demo in front of the
arts centre at Dalhousie University.  Mobile shop, transportation,
helper etc. all ready to go.  Then I realized I didn't have a sign of
any kind.  So I prevailed upon a commercial artist I knew who grumpily
and reluctantly turned out a nice little sign with my name and the
word "Blacksmith".

Only after it was in place and I was taking a break on the nearby
stone wall, did I realize that, with his choice of colors and
typeface, from a distance it appeared to read:

      B.....S....
