Dave, I believe this number to be correct, It is slow for a 25 # Little
Giant -- most were set up to run between 350 to 400, 375 being a good
number. Remember these hammer were built mostly for drawing out and for
drawing out plow points as their bread and butter job. The high beats per
minute work great with the lower weight hammer of the 25 #. Force = 1/2
mv^2. So while the mass is low in the 25# LG the velocity is high and it is
squared. Ever see Jerry Darnell hammer -- light hammer very high beats per
minute, really moves the metal.
Speed the hammer up.

1725 divided by 5 = 345
345 times 8 = 2760
2760 divided by 10 = 276
