[TheForge] Bill Moffet (KS) shop fire

Bill is our vice president for the Central States Metal Artisans. He truly
is a good guy. He originally was a wood carver. He joined us about 10 yrs or
so ago to learn how to make his own carving tools. He took to blacksmithing
like duck takes to water. He's still sorting things out and he'll let us
know what we can do to help. We have our next meeting the 1st Saturday in
March, I'm sure by then he'll know where he stands. In the meantime we're
encouraging people to use the fund raiser. Thanks Eric for posting on the
forge.

Bill Moffet from Rose Hill Kansas had a shop fire Saturday night that
completely destroyed his shop and tools.  For any of you that may not know
him, he's a very talented and all around great guy.  I met him a couple
years ago at the Prairie Blacksmith Association Fall conference in Grand
Island NE.  It looks like an online fundraiser has been set up to assist him
in recovering.  There is also a link there to the news story about the fire.
