Yeah, I just checked the link. $36.50 at Home Depot. I'll pass. The
triangular file worked okay, albeit slowly.
I just checked whether a small tubing cutter (suitable maybe to 1" OD)
would track the threads of a 3/8" bolt -- and it will. The cutting wheel
is too sharp to be of any use. Maybe one could grind it to a 60* edge and
then it would do some good. Or perhaps one could just replace the wheel
with a non-rotating bit ground to the right shape. I have no need right
now but may keep it in mind for the next time I do.
