hello


for those who remember the swedish videos that were posted about many
years ago, one of the videos showed the making of wooden shoes. the man
used a tool which basically looked like a shallow scoop that he used to
literally scoop out the wood. t-handled tool. probably to give leverage
to cut the wood and scoop it out.

this would be a great tool to use to make bird house/nest hollows in a
log. make a hole just large enough for the scoop to pass through and
then scoop out the wood to make a hollow area about the size of a large
softball.
