[TheForge] OT: My floor is poured: the saga OT:

Up until one of my asshole neighbors ran him over, Ollie (border collie)
was ace at getting the rats out of the barn. His back end is now loused
up due to having been hit and he's gotten chubby and cannot get them
unless they are in a feed bin and I tilt it for him.

We had so many rats that we'd need a dozen terriers to get that under
control. We had so many that the barn floor has literally sunk in
places... which I now need to re-fill. I used to shoot them, but ammo
isn't what it used to me in terms of $$ and availability. Given the
less than negligible chance that the world may fall into some state of
post-apocalyptic chaos, I want to have as much ammunition on hand as I
can manage, if for no other reason than to make sure I put flesh on the
table. I for one am not fond of being hungry without choice.

Besides, we now have three dogs, all larger, and if I came home with
another one Bibi would kill me, chop me into pieces, curry me, and feed
me to the chickens... bones and all.

Just ask Bruce whether Bibi is anyone he'd ever want to piss off. :)
