Nah, that won't work.
A Faraday cage has to be complete, surrounding the item to be protected
100%, although holes smaller than a half wavelength might be acceptable.
(What's the wavelength of brainwaves, anyway?)
So, that means you either need to wrap yourself completely in the tinfoil
or else wrap only your head -- after cutting it off your neck!  Either way,
there are down sides...
