I begged a knife maker friend to tape a blade when he was polishing a handle on a Bowie with a very floppy buffer coated green rouge. "Nah, too much time"- the buffer grabbed it and sliced through his hand. When he came home from the hospital, "How am I gonna make knives with only one hand"? I told him, "let's go to the shop; I'll show you". I just couldn't resist it.
