I will make this quick - same friend needs to put in flue for her wood
stove, which has a 7" flange. She is thinking of putting in a 6" flue
because of costs. Is this rational? I've not been a big fan of choking
down the designed flow of such devices, but the manufacturer (Hitzer)
says while not optimal, it is OK.
Opinions?
