How much does wind chill affect the freezing of a water tank, pipes, etc? What is the formula for computing wind chill?

If you haven't done so already cover the equipment with a blanket and a tarp that is tied down. If you have a block heater plug it in . If not a
100 watt light in a can attached to the oil pan or block will keep it from freezing. Keeping the equipment covered will help the retention of heat.
