[TheForge] Christmas

I'm coming up with my own theory of nutrition. It's based mostly on
wishful thinking, but its arguments are self-consistent (if not consistent
with reality).
To whit:
Pig out on holidays, and especially eat all those cookies and candies in
the shortest possible time. After all, prolonged exposure to dietary sugar
is a sure* way of developing type-2 diabetes. So I figure that if you eat
all the junk food at once, the bugs in your gut will have a field day and
you won't absorb much of it yourself!*
Feast or famine was how our ancestors survived for millennia and THEY never
died from overeating! (Starvation, disease, or being eaten, yes, but not
from overeating!)
You see, if you leave all those cookies around for weeks, you're sure to
eat them anyway. Just eliminate the temptation by eating them all at once!
Happy holidays.
