I have a terrible time killing anyone known to me.  Names, faces... yeah, that puts the kybosh on all my plans.  That's why I plug deer when they come to crib my orchard.  I don't (usually) know them, get really pissed, and by those virtues am able to pull the trigger. But mama doe who's raised babies these past 4 years in our front pasture presents a serious problem for me because I'd probably sooner shoot myself, than her.
