Just to be clear, the "greenish" hue to hich I referred is very far
from viridian, kelley green, grass green, the green salts that form on
copper after acid solder or on worn silverplate spoons left in vinegar. 

Certainly not like the goldish/greenish hue that I used to see on
cadmium-plated bolts.

Maybe in the RGB-hex vicinity of 3C/51/46 or 3C/5D/4B.
